Weed Control
Pre-emergent weed control involves using herbicides to prevent weeds from germinating and growing in the first place.
These herbicides create a barrier in the soil that prevents weed seeds from sprouting, but they do not kill existing weeds.
This method is best used in areas where weeds have been a problem in the past or where weed seeds are likely to be present.
Pre-emergent weed control is most effective when applied in the early spring or fall, before the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
